We did not feel any aspect of our trip was worthwhile, and nobody wanted it to be otherwise more than us. We ate at a cafe (not their buffet) and were very unhappy with the quality of the food. I'm used to losing in casinos, but not at the rate we lost at Hollywood. The slots did not include many of my favorite new games and, worse yet, were very tight.a complaint we have heard from friends, as well.
We only do slot machines, so I can't comment on table games. It's fairly easy to find your way around in what seemed to me to be a circular design around the central restaurant/bar. So it is with great sadness that I have to say the Hollywood Casino in Columbus was very disappointing when we finally went.
We've driven to the casinos outside Cincinnati. We've been to Vegas many times and love it. Nobody was happier to hear a casino was coming to Columbus than my wife and I.
